

Resource Mobilization Coordinator at CARE Denmark
As CARE Denmark’s Resource Mobilization Coordinator, you will be responsible for identifying and supporting efforts to secure funding resources from institutional donors, foundations, and other sources. You will play a critical role in ensuring the diversification of funding sources by developing contributing to diversified resource mobilization strategies, building relationships with donors, and supporting and leading fundraising initiatives.
We are looking for a colleague that is driven, proactive, can work independently and actively seeks input and guidance when needed.
You will be joining a team of committed and dedicated colleagues in CARE’s International Department. The place of work is Copenhagen. It is a 12-month position with possible extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Support development and implementation of resource mobilization roadmap and plans to support organizational goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential donors, partners, and stakeholders.
- Identify and engage potential new donors, partners, and funding sources, including government agencies, international donors, and foundations.
- Prepare high-quality funding proposals, concept notes, and reports for potential donors and partners.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of resource mobilization activities and recommend improvements.
- Facilitate internal process related to resource mobilisation (go-no-go process, update of internal resource mobilisation trackers and overview, facilitation of after-action review, etc.)
- Work closely with teams across organisation to ensure alignment between resource mobilization and organizational priorities.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of all resource mobilization activities and outcomes.
Other tasks
- Support the international director with producing ad-hoc reports and analysis (as needed for internal or external purposes).
- Participate and contribute to the international department’s overall goals and milestones.
We expect you to
Thrive in an international, multicultural organization with many stakeholders and join us with a desire to learn more. We do not expect you to have in-depth experience with all the listed tasks, but you have a toolbox full of skills and experience in financial management, reporting and financial analysis.
- Have a curious mind and experience with project management, writing of reports and proposals.
- Have experience working with different funding streams, donors and foundations (e.g. INTPA; ECHO; DANIDA; SIDA, Novo Nordisk Foundation, etc.).
- Have a higher academic degree in Development studies, International relations, Humanitarian Affairs, Climate studies or related fields.
- Write and speak Danish and English at business level. French is an advantage.
